American tech entrepreneur Brooklyn Earick has dismissed launching a buyout proposal for Tottenham.
The club had before “unequivocally rejected” an unofficial approach from a consortium spearheaded by Brooklyn Earick last month and stated the club was not for sale.
However British acquisition regulations stipulated that, following an informal proposal declined, the group needed to make an offer by late October or state they would not proceed.
Official word of the determination was made in a announcement released by Tottenham to the stock exchange, confirming the team is “ceased to be in an offer period.”
He published an image of the release on online platforms, stating: “It was a pleasure interacting with the club and the Lewis family's representatives over the past few months.
“I maintain deep admiration for the club, its management, and its supporters, and wish them continued achievements.”
Spurs' leadership acknowledged the consortium for its “cooperative stance” in talks and for “acknowledging the clear position” of the proprietors that the club is not for sale.
The entrepreneur is a ex-disc jockey who also was employed in aerospace studies for NASA before founding Redacted RnD, which specializes in technology, entertainment, athletics and recreation.
His approach was the third expression of interest turned down by the team's directors since the sudden departure of executive chairman Levy in the fall.
Earlier in September, the organization rejected approaches from previous club stakeholder Amanda Staveley's PCP International and a consortium spearheaded by Dr Roger Kennedy and Wing-Fai Ng through Firehawk Holdings.
