Based on recent data, the number of people aged 100 and above in the UK has grown by 100% from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

Between 2004 and 2024, the number of men aged 100 or over has grown by 200% from 910 to 3,100. During the same timeframe, the amount of female centenarians almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.

We are eager to receive stories from those aged 100 or over, their loved ones or companions, about what it has been like to live through the past century’s transformative changes and changes.
